I thought it was about time I let you know about some of the best pubs outside of the City Centre, as most of the pubs in the city centre are full of either drunken under age girls or drunken middle aged men!!
First up is the Bent Brook in Davyhulme - accessibile by bus from Piccadilly Gardens, I dedicated a whole blog to this place a few weeks ago, a brilliant venue for music, the landlord is great and they serve food and have all sorts of themed nights!
Next up is the George and Dragon in Cheadle, another great place for live music on a Friday night and the Landlord is super crazy!! Its a real local place and gets lively a bit later on. Again you can get here by bus from the city centre.
The Garrick in Urmston is a nice pub for a nice day, a lovely big pub with a nice big garden, the staff are friendly and the drinks are reasonably priced and they serve very delicious food!
All in all, I think most people who go out to enjoy themselves rather than to purposely get hammered are flocking to out of town pubs to enjoy a nice pleasent evening!
I know I do!!!
