I would like to take this opportunity to give a big hand to Team GB who did this country proud in the 2008 olympic games!
A special well done though to all of those medalists from our home grounds of Manchester, they are the following:
Chris Hoy from Salford won the Gold medals in the team sprint, Keirin and singles sprint.
Rebecca Romero from Manchester won a gold medal for the individual cycling sprint.
Bradley Wiggins won the Gold medal for Individual pursuit race in cycling.
There are so many of them it would take me hours but just a nod of a hat from me to you to say well bloody done!!
At last this country is proving its worth!!!
